Personally I’m more into the simple things in life like an ounce or so of Makers Mark over a couple of ice cubes in a glass.

I wonder what it says about me when my favorite adult beverages aren’t on the chart?

    Cheap beer?

  4. Joel says:

Yeah, I said the same thing – before noticing that the description for a Bloody Mary drinker matches me rather too well. My favorite adult beverage is whiskey in a glass container.

My favorite is good single malt scotch… actually made in Scotland, served unadulterated by anything. But I’m too cheap to even buy watered down beer… I’m pretty much happy with just the water. 🙂

Hey ML nice to read you are a scotch drinker. if you can get one of your kids to spring for it, this is great. The Balvenie DoubleWood Aged 12 Years. The Balvenie DoubleCask is also very nice.

While some people consider themselves to be alcohol connoisseurs, I consider myself to be simply a sewer. :^)

    Bushmills Irish room temperature

Aye, one of the benefits of being poor (or scotch) is that this stuff is far too expensive to guzzle – unless you are truly wealthy. My sons do well to make ends meet, so they’re not apt to be sending me any of the good stuff. But I don’t really mind. I buy a wee bottle of blended scotch once in a great while. The last I had was a smoky Glenlivet a friend had gotten “duty free” on a trip to England. Took me two years to go through it, and the last sip was swallowed after a deep sigh… I don’t ever expect to taste it again. But that’s OK… the memory lingers. LOL

Bourbon. Mmmm, bourbon. Ice, if available . . . if not, no matter.

    Mmmm, bourbon.

    🙂 🙂 🙂
