I love her brother’s line in the clip, speaking slowly and trying to make it simple so Detroit Urban Youth will be able to understand: “If you break into our home, we’re going to kill you.” Clearly he’s a transracial white racist trapped in a dreadlocked, black body.

Yes, I thought that too. It may just be the difference in venue and a difference in local culture, but if that were me being interviewed after a house break-in, it would never occur to me to say “We don’t do drugs”.
But in Detroit it would make you a member of a rare and oppressed minority, and therefore it might be worth mentioning.
