You know the best thing about poverty?

The pleasure you get from moments of plenty.
100_4966I’ve spoken before about my Scrooge McDuck moments. They’re really quite pleasant, in a possibly-sinful way. This morning I cleaned and prepped 200 .44 cases, which I can fill with primers, powder and bullets without running out of anything and will keep me shooting promiscuously (by my standard) for a month. And I got a chuckle out of the frisson of pleasure it gave me, seeing them all piled up like that.

Never used to have that effect, is all I’m saying. 🙂

I’ve always got the warm fuzzies working on a big pile of soon to be perfect bullets. used load 3-4 hundred a month for match rifles. Never thought it was a chore.
