It seems a company with a long German name has also chosen to revive and modernize the FG-42, the world’s tacticalist rifle, making it tacticaller yet.
I say ‘also’ because InRange fans know an American company has been working on a similar project for some time.
The TFB article linked above mentions barrel lengths and available calibers, but doesn’t say whether the German version is semi-only or select-fire like the original. Given that I don’t believe German serfs … that is, tax-paying citizens … are allowed to own proper weapons, I’m guessing these are select-fire and intended for sale to governments. So Forward, SMG!
