So some high-toned NYC lawyer got himself shot in the head recently, apparently having innocently stumbled into the path of some random violence. Politicians and others who don’t see this sort of thing happening to them in the course of a normal day were shocked and outraged. This fellow worked for Cuomo, according to the article, who had this self-serving thing to say…
“It’s the same story almost weekly, tragedy after tragedy after tragedy. Anyone who doesn’t believe we have to do something about gun control is delusional.”
Did I mention this tragedy happened in New York City? That would be the New York City, home of the Sullivan Act and stop-and-frisk. Outside an actual prison, I can think of no place on earth where more has been ‘done about gun control.’ And it’s a scary hellhole.
I’d ask what it would take to convince gungrabbers that passing more laws disarming the law-abiding will not in any way reduce ‘gun violence,’ but like you I already know the answer.
H/T to Codrea.

A lawyer was killed… While the death of an individual is tragic the loss of a lawyer trained at that great socialist bastion Harvard was no great loss to the real world.
Why?
Harvard churns out people who have no real world grounding. When one of these fools expire violently there is no great loss to the real world since they were never part of that world. Maybe if these people would get out of their offices and into the real world they would see the problems that are faced on a daily basis, like the fact that when stuff happens it happens quickly. As the old saying goes… When seconds count the police are only minutes away.
Sorry to read someone died do to the operator of the tool not being able to control where the tool placed the projectile. If you can’t operate the tool in such a manner that you can hit the intended target you should lay the tool down.
On the other hand, ultimately, each of us is responsible for our own safety and the individual killed failed to do that.
Both parties failed and someone got killed over it. Sad.
I am sure you know this isn’t about reducing violence. It is about power. As long as 200+ million Americans have guns politicians cannot simply take all the power they want to take. This is especially true if your political bent is socialsm/communism. You must disarm the peasants before you can starve them to death or send them all to gulugs.
He’s not dead yet as of just now.
When guns are completely banned in NYC, what more laws will they pass against guns? Death penalty for thinking of possessing one?
