Some of the most loyal and active TUAK readers are women, and so I request most humbly and sincerely that they pardon my french when I opine that the two supercilious broads who appear at the beginning of this brief clip illustrate the reason somebody coined the word “bitchslap.”
It’s not the opinion they offer, with which (of course) I strongly disagree. It’s not even the hoary lies they offer as self-evident truth, though for heaven’s sake how long must we endure them? It’s the attitude. It’s the haughty, down-your-nose loftiness with which they offer those lies, as if hoi polloi are simply a cross they must nobly bear. My teeth, they ache from clenching, and it’s only a 2 1/2 minute clip. Good guys don’t need guns? They’d certainly need guns to get me to sit through the documentary this clip advertises.
David Codrea keeps it together better than I did, and offers a somewhat more substantive rebuttal. All I could do was grind my teeth and glare.
Ah Joel. Those silly twits are not worth a microscopic bit of your tooth enamel. Think about your own “Ultimate Answer to Kings.” These idiots will be vanquished the same way… a hearty belly laugh.
I must admit to occasionally visualizing women like them faced with rioting gangs and how fast they’d be looking for someone to protect them. You suppose they’d be upset if they couldn’t call the cops… to come rescue them with GUNS? I have to admit the visual image makes me chuckle. I wouldn’t feel sorry for them, really.
You have more patience than I. I didn’t even make it through the entire clip and I wanted to drop kick them.
There are people out there who will hurt you just because they can. And ultimately, in any situation, you are the one responsible for your own safety. I take it they didn’t learned the same life lessons I learned as a six-year old.
Well, I am very glad you referred to “us” as women and not ladies, coz I sure as hell ain’t!!!! lol.
Seriously though, some idiots cannot get over the fact that men are physically stronger than most women – so what!!! Then you’d get the argument that us short people are “disabled” than most; heellllll no, I can keep up with the beanpole that is WRM (keep an eye on your email, I’m gonna see if I can get him to send you a pic of the two of us standing side by side).
As it is, I would give anything to be able to live in the Gulch with you and the rest of your delightful neighbors.
