Does this mean I have to put on clothes?

For the past two days I’ve barely left the Lair, exiting only to take care of essential dog stuff and admire my new PV panel’s efforts to charge big-ass batteries.

That involves going in here…

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. And then uglified real good.

Yeah, I suspect that after my death Ian will regard tearing that down as Job One.

Anyway, my main activity for the past few days has been devoted to posture, as in sitting very straight. Any forward curve in my spine promises pain. Fortunately there’s none of that in shit-shoveling. Except for everything you do.

Nonetheless I’m feeling much better and really can’t put off going to work. The horses’ singleminded pursuit of my job security means that the longer the interval between shit-shovelings, the more you gotta shovel. Do it every other day and you can be in and out in an hour, which makes Monday the most work-intensive shoveling day of the week. It is now Tuesday. Resistance is futile.

Y’know, if my life involved as much horseshit as yours I might consider growing mushrooms for fun & profit. Just thinking with my permaculture hat on here.

    It’s an interesting idea.
