Biden: There’s an ‘overwhelming reason’ not to run for president
Vice President Joe Biden told a gathering of auto workers there’s one “overwhelming reason” not to run for president — a chance to drive General Motors’ new Corvette Stingray.
Say what you will about Biden, though: He may have lost a mental step or two since that nanny dropped him on his head all those years ago, but he can still screw up a cultural reference:
“You guys are the only guys keeping the barbarians at the gate,” Biden said.
Yeah, okay. For the record, though, Joe, “at the gate” is not where the barbarians are actually supposed to be.
And who you calling barbarians, anyway?
Gad, I’m gonna miss Biden when he’s gone. He’s such an easy mark.
