I think we all know where it comes from, Stephen.
Embattled IRS plans employee bonuses for 2013 work to ‘boost morale’
Citing the need to boost employee morale, the Internal Revenue Service’s new commissioner said Monday that he will pay out millions of dollars in bonuses to agency employees…
If I knew I was one of the most justifiably hated creatures on the planet, it would do a number on my morale.
But then I wouldn’t have taken the job. Don’t all new applicants consider the chance to hurt people without consequence one of the built-in perks? I mean, who else but pathetic, dysfunctional sadists would ever consider doing it? Everybody wants to feel important. So if you can’t build, you break. There’s your IRS applicant base right there.
Or are there really people so dim as not to know the “service” in the title was always meant to be taken ironically?
