A typical summer day in the desert…

Still, calm, bright, hot…

After all the moisture of the past several days, the forecast called for Monsoon to take a break for a while. Today, at least, the forecast has proven dead right. It’s just after noon and we’re headed for mid-nineties.

I got the porch all painted and back together…

…and now I’m going to go sit on it while it’s shady, and pray for a little breeze.

Moisture, sunlight, atmospheric movement…is this about to inflict another peril by pollen upon you? May you and your hirsute quadroped be blessed with easy breathing and delightful scents, and peace in your humble and noble place.
