And now I wait and see.

Well…maybe not see exactly…

I thought I heard a noise!

I thought I heard a noise!

With new lenses in both eyes, I should actually be able to use both at once instead of only one or the other. I’m I was so myopic that after the first lens replacement my eyes just couldn’t work together. Instant double vision, headaches, inability to walk a straight line… So I always covered one or the other.

That problem should be gone now, so enter the new problem: My vision is nowhere near 20/20. I still need glasses and it’ll be at least a week till I can even get a prescription. I get decent distance vision in my right eye (and hopefully soon the left) with heavy reading glasses. But reading is a bit of a trial.

Whatever: At least the surgery part is done with.

Wow, that was fast. 🙂 Glad you are back. Just be patient, my friend. This is all going to come together and be better than ever. Walk in the sunshine for a while.

Hope things turn out well for you. I remember a long time ago Travis McGee pondered cataracts, and related a horror story about them.

  3. You look like some alien outer space creepy bug with those glasses. HA! Sorry Dude. Hope the eyesight improves soon, best wishes.
