AOC saves the world!

Imagine all the people
Forced at bayonet point to surrender their goods and service to the state
You-HOO-hoo-hoo-hoo…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I plan to control the guns
I hope one day you’ll join us
Then my liberation army won’t have to kill you!

I saw this at Hot Air, which had some comments…

There are of course some awkward elements to this effort, starting with the fact that it’s AOC narrating her own hero narrative, one in which she is the key figure in the salvation of America and maybe the world. It’s the kind of thing a smarter person wouldn’t admit to thinking about in public, much less narrate.

It begins on a bullet-train from New York to DC with an aging AOC reminiscing about a time before she was the most important person in the world…

…and all I can add is I really hope I didn’t help pay for this…

She has an amazing ego. Must be the thing her handlers were looking for.

I could only take twenty seconds of that and had to get out before I lost my supper.

And yet there’s a whole demographic who swallow that entire line. Scary.

“The lady with three names” is only important because the conservative press loves to hate her, and in the process they give her tons of free ink. I really doubt if the Democrats take her that seriously. The same goes for a certain female Muslim Congress-critter.

There are 435 Congress-folk. How many can you name? Not many right? That’s because individually they aren’t that important. Freshman Congress-persons even less so. So why do we keep talking about these two ladies?

“When we won this election, it wasn’t in districts like mine or Alexandria’s. And she’s a wonderful member of Congress, I think all of our colleagues will attest,” Pelosi, a California Democrat, told an audience Monday night at a London School of Economics event during a U.K. visit.

“But those are districts that are solidly Democratic. This glass of water would win with a D next to its name in those districts,” she said, picking up the water at her table.“

It’s not just one side or the other – neither side particularly likes young whippersnappers. Durn Scorpions, it’s in their nature.

    What Kentucky said…

I made it through 4 minutes of that, however I had to adjust the playback to twice the normal speed. Made it sound as though the narration was done by Alvin the Chipmunk.
