Look what a Generous Reader just sent me!
The person who sent it to me has waited a long time for confirmation of receipt, because it got hung up in transit for a while. But it did get here, and given the paucity of reloading supplies for sale lately it was a most princely gift.
Considering how the price of bullets and bullet components has increased, whoever sent this package is an angel.
If they really cared, they would have sent primers!
“If they really cared, they would have sent primers!”
CZ, there are limits to everything. Primers, like ammo, can’t be shipped via USPS and couriers are a lot more expensive. Also, it’s been my experience that couriers tend not to deliver to PO boxes.
The person who shipped this stuff did a very good deed, let’s leave it at that.
I think he was kidding, Mike. Gun Jesus himself couldn’t send primers right now. I know because I asked.
Anyway I was going to run out of bullets before I ran out of primers, and this is a chance to burn off some stock that’s so old it’s not even reliable anymore.
Dude, I ship ammo and components for a living… I know exactly what’s involved. My point was that while components are suffering in terms of availability, it’s the primers that are scarcest and commanding the most attention.
