Some days blogging is hard. In the interest of getting some actual work done today, I’m giving up on the “blogging” thing for the morning and just clearing some tabs.
* Disney buying LucasFilms and hoping to revive the Star Wars franchise is like Nouri Al-Malaki trying to conquer the western world by marching a gigantic army through Thermopoli and burning Athens. Pretty sure that ship has sailed, guys.
* I have it on good – or at least loud – authority that all white people are going to hell. Is the Rev telling me I get to do whatever I want to, because there’s no divine disincentive? Didn’t think so.
* Lengthy articles like this one by Victor Davis Hanson, for the record, drive me out of my frickin’ mind. How can such an obviously intelligent man, a historian by trade, be so right and get it so wrong? He goes on at great length about all the ways liberals are driving America into an inescapable ditch. As if only liberals played that game. Hint: Go ahead and read the article. But every time Hanson says “liberal,” erase and replace with “statist.” The whole thing will make a lot more sense.
