I normally avoid tab-clearing posts, not because I object to them but just because if I don’t have anything pointless and narcissistic to say about something I’d rather not bother bringing the subject up at all. Hey, it’s my blog.
But I read two items today that I found too interesting to send back into limbo, and are each so close to perfect in themselves I can’t improve them.
*Never Expect Liberty from Revolution, or How Violent Revolution Only Grows the State – pretty much spells out the reasons I gave up waiting or hoping for The Revolution sometime in my twenties: Bad idea all around.

*Is Your Bacon Sandwich Oppressing Women? – If you ask one of the great questions of our time: “Does feminism require vegetarianism?” within earshot of certain persons, you can expect an answer that will surely put your Safe Space to a serious test. This is that answer.
