Gun Safety Lesson Ends Tragically When Oakland County Man Shoots Himself in the Head
The victim reportedly held three handguns to his head and pulled the trigger, explaining that firearms are safe when they’re not loaded. A fatal bullet was discharged from the third gun.

Undersheriff Michael McCabe told the Oakland Press that the situation was “pretty unique.”“I have never heard of anyone testing out the safety of a gun by pointing at their head and pulling the trigger,” he said.
Note for future reference: Chamber-checking does not involve anything pointed at your head. Also, if the person conducting a “gun safety lesson” starts pointing guns at people, it’s time to leave.

A person does not have to be drunk for this to happen. A long time ago while working at Brinks. one of the guards shot himself in the head by accident. He was trying to impress his girlfriend who was picking him up after work by flashing his issue .38 around. When the supervisor told him to stop fooling around the fool told the supervisor not to worry the gun was unloaded. He then put the gun to the side of his head, pulled the trigger and sprayed his brains over his girlfriend who was beside him. One lucky thing was that the trajectory of the bullet was such that it missed the girl.
First rule… All guns are loaded all the time.
Note that the story about what supposedly happened came from the dead guy’s girlfriend, who was also the only witness. I think it’s much more likely that she murdered him and made up a stupid story to tell the cops.
The important question is, had this fool produced children yet? Personally, I’m just as happy when these incredible fools do themselves in early. The earlier, the better. One less damned fool underfoot and I’m not really sorry at all.
I hate to be evil about it (Or maybe I don’t….) but that “individual” had clearly been brain-dead for some extended period of time before he picked up that third handgun and made it official.
Anyone who is willing to take the stupid to that level isn’t going to be among us long under the best of circumstances.

Well he should be up for a Darwin Award. At least he will have earned, it unlike a Chicago politicians Nobel prize.
