It’s an interesting point…

I’d have substituted “cop” for “government” – we know the government would do it if it could – but otherwise, a fair point.

I believe you had it right.

The “government” might make the decision to do it, but they’ll defer the messy job to the cops who will be “just following orders”.

That’s why I practice my draw and shoot a couple hundred times weekly even when driving the tractor here on the farm . They may get me but I ain’t going alone.

We have seen this time and time again this past month. Governments can’t control themselves, they love power. The police will do what they are told right wrong or in different.

  4. Norman says:

“Government” may order it but it’s cops who will do it. I suspect a fair number of them understand the concept of “voting from the rooftops” and those who don’t will be offered an opportunity to learn about it.

The sad thing is I know some of those guys and they’re totally half-assing that. So my question is if the deputies and the department generally are doing as little as possible as they can to enforce it, why are they even bothering to be out there? The whole beach shut down is simply to keep people from LA County from overwhelming the beaches in other counties. I don’t think the department brass realizes that by having cops out there doing stupid stuff like that it’s seriously degrades public trust in them. I mean heck I was a cop and now I regard law-enforcement with a suspicious angry ire.

Yea, I have to laugh at all of these fools that think LEO’s are gonna fall in line protect their 2nd Amendment rights when they eventually implement gun control or confiscation.

    Agreed. Regrettable but true.

To the stake with the heretic!
