Got a chance to pay back some karma over at D&L’s, helping D stack a palletload of 3/4″ plywood in his workshop for some sort of apparently truly massive closet project. Not sure what sort of closet requires all that plywood, but probably I’ll find out in the fullness of time.
Got back in time for bread baking…

…and other than that I don’t really have anything blogworthy going on today. And speak of the devil, now I have to go punch down my dough.
Later, maybe…

So how did the bread turn out?
Fine, same as always.
Have you ever posted your bread recipe and instructions for kneading, rise time and punching down? If not can you share?
What’s this “Fine, same as always” line?
I seem to recall your bread adventures being somewhat less than fully successful a few months back.
Would the chickens even eat that stuff???
I have the same recollection Mark does, and I think the chickens refused to eat it. Remember that awful flour you got at the dollar store that was unrecognizable as anything related to food?? Even the rats ran away from it.
Yeah, but that was that weird granular “bread flour” somebody gave me. I got rid of all that … oh, over a year ago.
