Got paid, and tomorrow I’m off to the big town about 50 miles away to spend my riches on glaucoma meds and – hopefully – a pair of boots.
[rant]Mostly OT, but I’ve been thinking of your local packrat lately. We’ve got one(at least one) who has spent this summer decimating my garden. He/she/it picks all the leaves on a plant and leaves any fruit/vegs lying scattered about on the ground. I can’t put out a trap or barbait because of the dog and cat. This morning I looked out and all of the great big leaves are gone on both zucchini plants. I suppose I could work up some understanding if the little f-bomb was eating the stuff to get ready for winter, but everything is just left in a heap, totally wasted. [/rant]
