I’d heard of these but never saw one. It’s really not much of an issue out here in the sticks…
The writer at Ace of Spades points out that this is wrong on pretty much every possible level…
Per Federal Statutes domestic terrorism is described as:
(5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that–
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended–
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.
It appears to me that an organization that I belong to has been libeled. I’ve been defamed as a terrorist, without charge, without trial, without conviction. It appears to be a prima facie case and the NRA should sue the bejeebers out of madpac.com and billboard companies who lease out the space.
This will not happen, of course, for one of the two main reasons I’m not an NRA member. They’re good with keeping politicians on the teat, not so hot at crushing our enemies, driving them before, er, them, and hearing de lamentations of dere wimmin.
But “The NRA is a terrorist organization” clearly is libel against every member of that organization.

Let’s see…
Call me a terrorist, then call me stupid and ignorant for being so stupid to want to hang onto my guns for my own protection.
Which is it? Because those are two contradictory thoughts.
I’ve come to accept that I’m deplorable, but seriously, when does all this tough talk stop? They’re talking like they want a war. Every time I turn around I’m told I’m an awful person; a deplorable terrorist monster, who is too stupid to vote. Racist. Angry. Fragile. White…
If I’m so bad, when are they going to stop talking and start doing something about me?
Yeah, they want a war, but they’re pretty sure somebody else will fight it for them.
Personally I think the NRA should sue them into oblivion for it. Because if they don’t the idea just gets further traction amongst the muddle headed fools of the left. When lying becomes expensive they’ll think twice.
To the actual idea ofthe NRA suing, I think their defense would be that it’s obvious hyperbole.
Even though I don’t think they believe that for a second
The left and the Government have been fairly successful at branding anyone who doesn’t hum the lyrics to their songs as terrorists.
