Big as she got, nobody’s ready to give up and believe there was only one kid in there. But Pearl pooped one out this morning, while I was over cleaning pens. By the time I left, the little girl was dry and nursing and there was no sign of more. Pearl’s still big as a house, though, and consensus is there’s more in there.
UPDATE: Just got off the phone with J. Pearl had FOUR (4) kids, double the usual quota. Three girls and a boy. Everybody’s healthy and hungry. Now Peal will be able to walk again, poor thing, though it’ll likely be a while before she gets a minute’s peace.
