Product Reviewer Joel

Well, whadaya know? Uncle Joel’s actually going to do a T&E. I mean not the usual kind where I just bitch about stuff, the kind where somebody sends me free stuff and I test and evaluate it and then write it up on the blog.

This no doubt once in a lifetime occurrence is a few weeks down the road, mostly due to my peculiar mailing situation.

I’ll leave it at that, except to say holy shit did you know it costs more to ship pistol powder than it does to buy it? Because I did not know that. “Hazardous materials surcharge” yerass, just don’t set the package on fire and you’ll be fine.

About Joel

You shouldn't ask these questions of a paranoid recluse, you know.

Joel don’t you remember what the hoops were for simply sending a 4″ S&W model 19 from Canada the the States? Why would it be any different for powder?

While 60 pounds of .223 cartridges gets a teeny ORM-D sticker and an even-tinier “small arms cartridges” sticker so everyone knows yer a gun nut. I’m thinkin’ the powder’s less deadly: powder burns, bullets fly. Well, casings fly- bullets move a bit.
