Interesting, not to mention very impressive. Just think Joel, if you wanted to take the content of this blog and turn it into a book… Just saying…

  2. Second-most funded book in Kickstarter history.
Ian’s been doing an incredible service to the gun culture with his research over the years…he deserves every bit of success that comes from this book. The benefit he has provided with Forgotten Weapons simply cannot be overstated.
I hope there’s a enough coin left after expenses for him to get some of the reward that he deserves.

Mike, it has put the thought into my head. You might recall that I did write a book about the Gulch about four years ago, but there were so many color photos it would have been prohibitively expensive to publish on Amazon. I decided it wouldn’t have been the same without the pictures and dropped the project. Now I’m kind of wondering…

You’ll need a better cover than the one I made 😉
Glad for Ian, he’s done amazing work over the years.

    I like that cover.

Last year I was moving files off a soon to die hard drive and found that folder. The lair looked a bit different in 2014!

  7. Joel says:

Well, that’s a point. But I still like that cover the way it is. If I ever update the book I’ll have to add chapters on the Lair upgrades.

Joel, I remember you blogging about the book but then nothing. I think it’s time for you to start picking Ian’s brains and see how he did it. There’s money to be made…
