That’s a career opportunity I’m gonna have to pass on.

Evergreen State Is Launching a Masters in Social Justice Program, With Guaranteed Jobs for Graduates

“Teacher candidates here are immersed in social justice, informed by our conceptual framework,” reads the official page. “You will tackle questions of policy and politics head-on, from the local to national level. You will strive to enact equity pedagogies and environments which support the learning of all children.”

Uh huh.

Our courteous and well-trained faculty stands ready to help with your every pedagogical need.

I can see the course reviews now: “I did okay on Resisting the Cisnormative Heteroppressive Imperialist White Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy, but got poor grades on my baseball bat follow-through.”

I see your bat . . . do you see my pistol?

There’s at least some talk — no doubt idle talk — in the WA legislature about defunding these violent racist SJW weirdos. That is, totally defunding Evergreen. Probably won’t happen. Evergreen was created as a 1960s/70s counterculture thing and it’s always been headed in this direction.

But that’s scary. “Social justice” indoctrination for the little school kiddies. Stalin would have approved.

I actually was at Evergreen right after high school in 2007. You could see the zealotry forming already. My best friend’s wife had to leave a couple years later after constant abuse for being married to a soldier, and being raised and identifying as Baha’i. Apparently her father converting was cultural appropriation, and she was a racist for continuing to practice a middle eastern faith as a white woman.

They said the mobs were “running rampant” on campus.

Sure. There’s a couple lovely xirs (xhes? Theys?) in that group that appear as though they’ve never run at all, much less run rampant.

Fact is, I’ll bet the beatiful, strong, empowered young person in the picture right foreground would get winded just thinking about giving that bat a half-hearted swimg.

Are these people really so deluded as to think they look even remotely intimidating?

Well, they do make me want to check the loads in my pistol, maybe switch out the revolver for the 1911. Not that I’d expect the rest to keep swinging after the first five hit the ground, but still. A guy likes at least as many rounds in his gun as there are targets.

But in direct answer – Yes, I suspect they may currently be that deluded. I wouldn’t expect the delusion to outlast the first serious resistance by very long, though. I’m not seeing a lot of staying power in that bunch.

Hey, good observation . . . seven in the mag and one up the spout.

I think the redhead look the most dangerous . . . or something.
