This is actually not the package I’ve been pacing and obsessing over. Still waiting for the Tracker gear, which is due tomorrow earliest. But it’s still fun.
Somebody hit the tip jar and said, “Merry Christmas. Buy yourself something nice.” And normally when that happens I end up spending it on something nice like propane or gasoline or flour. But this time I was actually up on propane and gasoline and flour, and so I impulsively…bought myself something nice.
I saw the first Avengers flick a couple of years ago when it first came out on DVD, borrowing it from Former Neighbor J. I haven’t seen these other two but always meant to get around to it. So now, as electricity permits, I’m gonna have me a little film festival.
Yes, I know it’s not great art and none of them have subtitles. I’m a guy. I used to like comic books; now I like comic book movies.
No subtitles? How’re you ‘sposed to watch with the sound off so as to not disturb the chickens? Though I suspect a text “kaboom” wouldn’t have the same visceral effect as Lair-shaking audio.
All three movies are wonderful if you love the comics. I am jealous as I want to buy them, but have not bought them. Yet.
