The morning death watch begins…

inmem
I have two cans – a little over three pounds – and that’s the last I’ll ever taste. Every sip is one fewer.

But that’s okay. I’m a Stoic. Be of good cheer, I will endure. With quiet dignity…and grace.

Glad you can endure this with quiet dignity and grace. I found out four days ago it had been discontinued, don’t have any, and pitched a bloody damn fit. No use to ask why they did it. They’ve been selling that blend for at least 20 years. There are distrait coffee drinkers posting suggestions online for ways to cobble together a blend of available coffees but they don’t sound happy with the results.
    WHY??????!!!!! discontinue it.

Is there any substantiation for that Reddit report? Nothing at the TJ’s Announcements about it.

  3. Bear says:

Well, searching on “house blend coffee” at their web site pulls up the item, but when you click it, it goes to a 404 page.

  4. Joel says:

Landlady hasn’t seen any at TJ’s in going on a month, and it has always been a constant item.

  5. We’ll check in California this morning. If I can find a few cans I’ll grab em.

  6. Joel says:

I may have in the past but it’s been a really long time. Landlady is bringing up something different-Bay Blend? Something like that-and I guess the adventure will begin.

  7. None in my store. I do like their medium roast Sumatran a lot. Don’t let the words Fair Trade,Organic put you off, it’s about $0.50 an ounce.

To the stake with the heretic!
