Then again, sometimes weird things just happen.

The story of how that guy who knew one of the Boston Bombers got shot during his “interview” isn’t getting any less strange.

So not only has the story changed again, it has now changed twice in the same sentence. The weapon has no gone from nothing to a knife, back to nothing to a table to a metal pole to a broomstick. Todashev was also apparently shot more than once, after an initial volley of “several shots” somehow failed to bring him down.

Conspiracy buffs, of course, are strongly of the opinion that the FBI shot the guy because that’s what you do when you want somebody dead. But I don’t even think Alex Jones could come up with a halfway-plausible reason doing so would have been in their interest. Supposedly he was in the very process of confessing to a triple murder when he suddenly lunged, or made a furtive movement, or attacked them with a knife, or a table, or a pole, or a broomstick, or maybe he was about to detonate a nerve gas bomb that would have depopulated Miami, or…

Who knows? Even the guys who were there don’t seem to know.

“Supposedly he was in the very process of confessing to a triple murder…” If the story keeps changing it will end up being that “He was in the very process of confessing his and the Tsarnaev brothers’ participation in the Kennedy assassination when he pulled a dagger made of dry ice, which unfortunately evaporated leaving no trace.”

    They are lying.

Considering the train of sources here:
Atlantic wire who keeps posting articles about how owning a gun of any type indicates a disturbed psychological status and having one with greater that 6 rounds in it should have you on a government list.
NYT who keeps saying the same things as well as telling us what a marvelous job the Government is doing for us under their hero, Barry.
The ever present when hard facts are not…the anonymous source.
Not that I am saying that this was a justifiable shoot nor am I defending the FBI or it’s ultimate master but flat out there is just a rash of bullshit coming from every corner in this issue.

I am surprised the Times and the Wire don’t just boil it down to the evil hi capacity automatic death gun just leaping out of the agent’s holster and executing the interviewee all by itself. Because hat’s what guns do dontchaknow.
