Clinton Dumbfounded by Rising Cost of Obamacare

Hillary Clinton was stunned Monday when a small business owner told her that the cost of her health insurance had increased nearly two fold.

“A $400 increase, assuming you didn’t have some terrible healthcare event, which it doesn’t sound like you did,” Clinton said at a campaign event in Virginia. “I don’t understand.”

Kinda hard to run against Obama, the way he could against Bush, since she was right there nodding and smiling at the time. Oh, but I can hear the screeching now. “You had one job. Vet the questions!”

She obviously hasn’t been paying attention. Or wants plausible deniability.

  2. Kentucky says:

She hasn’t been paying insurance premiums, either.

Oh, no way. Between the senate, the cabinet secretary gig and the Clinton Foundation, can you imagine what that old broad’s medical benefits are like? We’d be on the hook for her whole-body transplant, if there were such a thing.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Obamacare is the demon spawn of Romneycare, which has had a full decade to work its evil.

“Increased nearly two fold?” I wish. Insurance premiums for my small company have increased nearly 12 times in the past 10 years. We’ve had to switch plans 4 times because firms offering plans where you get to pick your own doctor leave the state.

  5. It takes a special kind of ‘thick’ to be “Dumbfounded by (the) Rising Cost of Obamacare” as the headline apparently states – that or being a shameless prevaricator. There have been times in history where politicians were widely reviled – for the life of me I cannot understand how that is not doubly so in these times. I guess it helps being a spigot for a whole bunch o’ ‘free shit’.

It’s kinda’ like a pyramid scheme where the sponsor tree is re-shuffled every so many cycles/years. Well – there is that nasty business of extortion/thievery that finances the endeavor. At least the MLM people don’t resort to violence! (though I’ve run across a handful of them that could obfuscate with the best of ’em)
