Ah, the power of positive feedback. For a couple of years now, my old post from the Spring of 2012 on chainsaw maintenance has been getting search engine hits. The more people click on it, the higher its likelihood of ending up on the first Google page, and … the more people click on it. 
It’s gotten to where this old post is likely to get more pageclicks in a day than the latest thing on the homepage. It got so popular I made it into a .pdf ebook.
And now it’s got a rival.
I wrote a 3-year review on my 55-gallon-drum septic system because I’ve just never seen one, despite all the references to them on prepper and how-to sites. And apparently people find it useful, which is gratifying.
Gratifying, if not profitable…
