This must be what they mean by post-scarcity

It’s Monday morning and I need a quick post, just to cynically bump TUAK up on the bloglists and whore for clicks. I don’t really know why I wish to do this; it’s not as though it will improve my ad revenue. It’s kind of tacky but also somehow tradition.

But it’s a gray morning with nothing going on that’s worth the slightest remark. I keep thinking it’s Sunday because S&L stayed over an extra day and Ghost didn’t come home yesterday. I lay in bed thinking deep and philosophical yet also manly frontiersman-type thoughts which consisted of “I can do laundry, or I can start the second coat of paint on the west wall. But wait, I’ll probably go to town this morning because it’s Monday. So I shouldn’t get all wrapped up in painting. Laundry it is.” It’s riveting stuff, you should have been there.

I can gas about the economy of Greece, as though I even knew the slightest thing about it. I even wrote a snarky post. But then I thought, ‘someday all the tubes in the internet are going to clog up with exactly that sort of bullshit, like grease in drainpipes and no way to flush it out. And what will we all do then?’ I don’t want to be responsible for more than my share of that sort of disaster. So I didn’t post it.

Sigh – LB had a very nice poop this morning. That is all.

Some days that’s actually an excellent situation to find one’s self in and just about as good as it gets.
