Yes, Hillary Clinton, ladies and gentlemen. Woman of the people.
A woman who could make hundred-to-one profits in the stock market just by saying “make it so.” Who claimed to have been ‘dead broke’ when leaving the White House, and a few short years later was very conservatively worth tens of millions of dollars. Who once moved to New York because that was where her sycophants could buy her a senate seat – which she abandoned when it bored her. Who was the best woman for Secretary of State because…well, hell if I know what qualified her for the job. Whose inconvenient lackeys have had a Putin’s-enemies-like habit of dropping dead under suspicious circumstances. Who left direct employees to be slaughtered by Libyan savages, lied and had a innocent person thrown in jail in a transparent attempt to deflect blame and who, when questioned about all that, angrily responded…
…and who walked out of that room free of leg irons and shackles.
A woman who, by her own proud testimony, hasn’t driven a car since 1996. A woman who has simply shrugged away one scandal after another, any one of which would have left you or me rotting in a pound-you-in-the-ass federal prison. That woman has the cojones of solid neutronium it would take to sit in front of a camera and tell an interviewer that another person lives in a bubble and has no realistic view of the world.
The accusation is almost certainly true, don’t get me wrong. But sheesh.
There are many in the political arena with whom I disagree – most, in fact.
But, post-debate, I could probably enjoy a beer with them.
