More heavy overcast this morning, capping a lovely wet weekend. I keep looking over my shoulder to see if Landlady is lurking anywhere. Actually in fairness Saturday was the prettiest day we’ll probably see till May, but it’s a faded memory now. Yesterday I turned my inverter right off, so I don’t feel guilty about turning it back on to check messages and leave this post, but then I’m going out in the rain to turn it off again.

Like unto a red flag before bulls it was! Ian and Karl respond with an InRange video named In Defense of the Sturmgewehr. Which at more that 25 minutes I don’t have the bandwidth to watch, but I’m going to ask Ian for a copy on a thumb drive because I’d really like to see the whole thing**. I saw enough to know that the Batman vs. Wolverine battle is truly joined.

*Which is a completely unfair characterization, because Ian is actually a fine figure of a man as you know if you’ve ever seen any of his 2-gun videos. But boy, when he puts his Gun Nerd hat on…
**Because personally I think the Sturmgewehr is an interesting rifle, historically, but I would never attempt to go on about it like these guys can. I used to call myself a gun nut, until I hung with Ian and his friends for a while. Those guys are gun nuts.
