Forecast: It’s going to storm. Don’t know where, don’t know when. That’s not really a big help.
In the meantime…well, I thought I had a great shot of a digital thermometer with some appalling temperature reading, but my rapidly-failing camera didn’t record the file. Grumble. Anyway, it hit 104o briefly yesterday. Not a record for the summer, but hot. Did the same thing on Wednesday. I spent a couple of hours hiding in Ian’s Cave yesterday. Thought we were done with that.
No hiding today, though, because today I start my new paying gig taking care of dogs, horses and gardens far from here. And it’s gonna be another hot one.

We have had a string of overly warm days in southern Utah. A sprinkle of rain gave us some small relief yesterday. Then it was gone and the smoke from one of the fires returned. We anxiously await monsoon as well.
