Or so said the voters of Chambersburg, PA who threw out their old multi-term mayor when he joined Nanny Bloomberg’s MAIG.
[New Mayor] Darren Brown, said he knows one thing he’ll do immediately after being sworn in as mayor: “The very, very first thing I’d like to do is get Chambersburg off the ‘Mayors Against Illegal Guns’ list.”
Of course Reagan said the same thing about abolishing the Department of Education, and we’re still waiting. Brown is a politician and his mouth is moving, so Chambersburg voters should remain vigilant. But I’m enjoying the rhetoric.
