Get a load of this guy…
“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Really? That’s not my experience.
I’ve worked for some entrepreneurs, people who built happened to occupy offices within businesses that weren’t there before the entrepreneur came along. I always thought they built those businesses, but it seems I was wrong. Maybe the business was just laying on the ground, beside the road or something, and the businessman happened to come along and pick it up. Or something. I dunno, but he didn’t build it. Nobody builds businesses, just like nobody builds roads.
I’ve heard the Big O say some stupid counterintuitive things before, but this tops them all.
Funny thing for a guy who’s running in the most expensive campaign in history to say out loud, but judging from the background noise his audience enjoyed hearing it.

Maybe the strategy is to get any normal human being within earshot to spontaneously combust from the pluperfect irony of the Thugocrat-In-Chief lecturing all of us about the propriety of planting one’s flag in the success of others.
On the other hand–provided that we can survive our own instinctual reactions to the hubristic chutzpah–you just keep on it there, O, with the “war is peace”, “freedom is slavery”, “up is down” soap boxing. That shit will keep working right up until the point where it doesn’t any more. And when that happens, my friend–well, you’ll certainly no longer have to worry about me.
Wait a minute, something just occurred to me. Something that explains this ridiculous meme entirely.
This is simply Obama’s Gunwalker strategy. “See, it couldn’t have been me, because ‘Somebody else made that happen'”.
Of course!
He obviously had problems with his Teleprompter.
It should be “If you were Elected, you didn’t get there on your own. Somebody – maybe a PAC or Government made it happen.”
Wish I knew how to do voice overs.
