Gun carriers! Would you like a “99.99999% chance of not getting shot/killed by the police*”?

Then you need Carrier Shield!

Yes, Carrier Shield! It’s a patent-pending sticker for the rear window of your car, to inform that cop who just pulled you over for your broken tail light that he’s dealing with an armed idiot! Yeah, that’ll calm him down.

Actually I suppose there is a sort of logic to it…

Bruno said the shooting-death of Philando Castile last year in Minnesota prompted him to designed (sic) the sticker.

A police officer shot and killed Castile during a traffic stop, after Castile told him had a legally-owned gun in his pocket.

Prosecutors said Castile never reached for the gun and was shot as he reached for his wallet.

I’m not convinced a window sticker would have defused that situation, honestly the sight of that badge will only antagonize a cop. They’ll be happy to inform you that they’re the only ones who get to wave steenking badges. Also I’m pretty sure that if I were looking for a gun to steal and saw that sticker, there’d be one busted window in that car’s immediate future. Lots of people leave their gun in their car.

h/t to Bear, who wondered how you get a patent on a window sticker.

*Actual claim on the Facebook page. He made it up, I didn’t.

Oh me… its as if there’s a super stupid “flu” circulating in the gun world. I just got done reading about some outfit encouraging the use of a “warning shot” at TTAG. Actually, the officers around here would probably split a gut laughing at this nutty thing. They already treat everyone as probably armed. And unless you point it at them, they don’t much care.

Yep, just like the NRA window decals and license plates, and other gun-ho advertising.

Kentucky, I’ve had my NRA Instructors decals in my car window for nearly 10 years. No problems. I plan to remove the stickers now that I’ve retired as an NRA Instructor… but I’m not sure they will come off. They look about the same as they did the first day… Wish things I WANT to last that long would do so. LOL

I think it is better to be the gray man/woman. Do not give any hint that you are armed till you are in a bad situation…..and try hard to stay out of those!

Well, good for you. You obviously live in the boonies where you don’t have to deal with the “hood element” who will rip off anything that isn’t SECURELY nailed down.

  6. MamaLiberty says:

Yes, Kentucky… WAAAY out in the boonies. LOL The nearest town has about 2,300 people, and nobody locks their cars as far as I know. That is only one of the reasons I moved here to start with. I may drive to the city, about 25,000 population 80 miles away, once a year… or not. :) I hate crowds, especially crowds of strangers.

I’m really sorry you don’t seem to live in such a nice place. :)

Not to be a downer here, but hopefully Officers don’t depend on this …

“Heeeyyyy – no firearm in this one George!”

Society has begun to concern me with the decline in thinking.

At least this one is a window sticker, and not a “real badge.”

We are NOT cops and we don’t want to look like one.

To the stake with the heretic!
