Here comes the sun

Spent two hours on laundry this morning, with some towels and winter bedding. Had so many things to wash, in fact, I got concerned that I might have more laundry than clothesline.

But the weather gets a little warmer every day, after the cold/nasty streak of the past week. This morning, after rinsing the third tubful of washing I found that the first was already dry enough to come down off the line. 🙂 That’s efficiency, right there.

Just be glad you don’t have two pre-toddlers in (cloth) diapers. I never had a dryer until after my boys were in their teens… so I hung laundry every day for many long years. Sometimes I had to string lines inside from the curtain rods and door frames. My husband called it “Suzi Wong’s Laundry.” Luckily, he could always run faster than I could…

Have to agree Joel the weather is getting nicer every day. Tomorrow it is “clear out the fallen trees” day. Thank goodness it’s not supposed to rain.
