I just booted up the modem out of nostalgia or something, and to my shock it actually connected. It’s six in the AM and I’m just getting my first coffee down so I don’t actually have anything to say except yesterday was the first cloudless day since June and today’s looking like maybe more of the same. Sunrise temps in the thirties, which is a bit of a bummer. Upgrayedd the Rooster has discovered sex. I’m riding a fetish to cut up all the scrap wood in the county and stuff it in my woodshed in an effort to

Cold here this morning too, but clear and beautiful. Probably will freeze in the next day or two. Got all my tomatoes harvested and the mower covered, so I’m all set.
It’s friggen snowing in some places I’m in and want to go to. Makes me wonder what kind of winter this will be and how much cussing will be involved until it’s over.
Woke up to the first soft frost of the season yesterday, 32.2 degrees. So, yes, it’s just lurking around the corner. Always good to see Uncle Joel in the morning.
