A border wall is a pretty simplistic reaction to a complex problem. Over history, border walls have had a pretty spotty record of success. The problem is, human ingenuity is pretty good at figuring ways to get over, under, through or around walls. Most of us know about the Maginot line and its spectacular failure. Heck, even the great wall of China was ultimately unsuccessful. Also, a border wall can serve as a huge negative symbol and a rallying point. Does anyone remember the Berlin wall?
Did I mention that walls are expensive to build and even more expensive to defend? Did I mention that the Mexicans aren’t going to pay for the Fu@@ing thing?
Vinny, only the third most corrupt guy to hold office in Mexico in the last 17 years or so…….yeah, he’s not paying for the fucking wall. Not that there will ever be one, Trump wins or no. That money is in a nice secure Swiss account. Not that he’ll admit that and everyone in Mexico who could prove it because cartel fodder.
His policies are part, a huge part of why there are people demanding a goddamn wall.

Buck gets it. Illegal immigration is fault of those countries, because their citizens are forced to leave their native countries to make a living and/or send the fund they make here to their relatives over there. They don’t want to become American citizens – they refuse to learn English and have no intention of assimulating into America. Those countries don’t have any regard to the peon and they are encouraged to leave because a smaller population is easier to control.
