Laddie is coming.

They’re on their way this morning. ETA Tuesday evening, I think more likely Wednesday morning.

The neighborhood is putting out the welcome mat: There have been three offers of lodging including Landlady’s house which is what we’re going to do. That house has a big tub but no shower and no hot water at present so in case J & B want a hot shower after their long journey sleeping in the truck, that has also been arranged.

They call me Mr. Booger Brain.

They call me Mr. Booger Brain.

The transition for him should be interesting. Wyoming snow country to the wild desert. Susan told me he has a penchant for hiding in snowbanks, which I’m not sure you have much of…

    Doesn’t happen often, no. 🙂

I’ll be watching him very closely at first until I see how he reacts to his first snake. A fear reaction is good; a friendly nose-bump, not so much.

Hopefully he won’t develop a penchant for hiding in monsoon floods. I wonder how well he deals with thunder and lightning? THAT could be interesting.

But at least y’all are past your worst heat by now? If so, he’ll have time to acclimate before it hits again next year.
