George Zimmerman Emerged From Hiding for Truck Crash Rescue
George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue a family who was trapped in an overturned vehicle, police said today.
Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of a family of four — two parents and two children — trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The fiend! Attorney General Eric Holder, in a statement from the Department of Justice, announced that he has ordered the family taken into custody as evidence pending further federal charges against Zimmerman. Zimmerman escaped the scene of the atrocity and remains at large: State police and Florida National Guard are on full alert. Women and teenagers of color are warned to stay indoors until the crisis passes.

Crazy as it may be, a “saint George” is no more appealing than is “saint Martin.” But if anyone else had been involved, nobody outside of the local news area would have heard of it, if that. If some of the folks had been seriously injured or killed, maybe, but not a no blood event like this. Actually, I’m surprised the “news” reported on a story that shows George in a good light.
