It’s time to have the talk. (I swear I didn’t make this up.)
This holiday season (sic), millions of Americans have a chance to get quality, affordable health insurance—many for the first time. If you have family members who are uninsured, you can play a big part in helping them find coverage that works for them. It might not always seem like it, but your family listens to you. So have the talk.

Make a pledge to have a conversation with your family about health insurance this holiday season.
If anybody here actually does this, would you do us the favor of dragging whatever’s left of yourself back to TUAK and letting the rest of us know how it went? Please?
ETA: Oh! Oh! Better yet, let’s have a nice Thanksgiving argument about gun control!

I am hoping that next thanksgiving the Democrats will have lost the Senate and that maybe the media might finally do their job and investigate what the administration is doing and that we can talk about impeachment around the Thanksgiving table. I am just not sure our country can survive 3 more years of Obama.
Had the conversation on gun control with my sister. It stopped just short of physical violence [her not me]. I’ll pass on healthcare thank you.
i read them both and then threw up in my mouth a little bit.
Ah, the good old days. Never mind discussions around the table… most involving children and future plans… the real “discussion” was in the kitchen earlier, with the war between those who like bread stuffing and those who insist on cornbread. As with the .45 vs. 9mm argument, that one just never goes away and there is NO compromise. 🙂
I’m staying home this year. 🙂 When my sister decided to put oysters in the dressing last time, I vowed I’d never go again. They won’t all come to Wyoming, so that settles it – especially since I’m not ever getting on another commercial airplane.
But here’s something you might want to talk about with the gun ignorant in your crowd.
Have You Noticed the Subtle Trick the ‘Anti-Gunners’ Have Apparently Started Using?

Quick: Think about any recent gun-control article or statement written by or about someone who favors the gun-control argument. Have you noticed anything? NRA News contributor Colion Noir has: the term “gun control” is being replaced by “gun safety.” And he’s none too happy about it.
