Okay, so after the 11am feeding I went down the hill to where I parked the yellow Jeep and put the rear driveshaft back on…
…and Tobie was in the red Jeep and apparently being a very good boy, but it turns out…
…he found something to chew. D really likes his Jeep. Has gone to considerable pains to keep it nice. And Tobie just textured his brake lever.
I’m gonna go find my good groveling pants…
Darn raccoons!
It could have been worse, so smile and be happy that it wasn’t. 😀
Looks like a good non-slip texture to me. At least once you wipe the dog slobber off…
You surely do not want your hand to slip when you are using that brake lever.
Well kind of like kids breaking the good China. Can’t beat them just have to hope they learn and don’t repeat.
I had an older dog take a liking to seat belts, because he chewed up not one, but two rear seat belts, in two different vehicles, because he hated being restrained while going for a ride!
Wrap it with black duct tape and call it good. Then check Amazon 😉
Is everything okay with the yellow Jeep now?
You didn’t say, is all okay with the yellow Jeep now?
The drivetrain is fixed. Today I hope to fix the fuel injector problem. Not much I can do about the transmission but replace it.
Considering the amount of time/effort/cash that’s going into the yellow peril, is there any plans on a used replacement?

No, I have to keep the Jeep running or figure out how to get along without for at least the next two and a half years. I plan to apply for social security when I hit 70, and assuming the money’s still good by then my income will increase by about ten times. Then I can maybe save up for a used 4-wheel-drive. I can’t imagine what my credit score looks like, but just naturally assume that there’s no way in hell I could ever get a loan.
Well, on the plus side it’s only a couple of years and with the skill set you have, I’m sure the jeep will hold up.
Put your formidable sewing talents to work and fit a leather sleeve to the brake handle.
Voila.. a customized feature.
And make a pink fuzzy fleece one to slip on when he isn’t looking.
On the sis note, I am still working so when I hit full retirement i am going to start pulling money. I would hate to make it to 70 and croak. I alive and it will be tax free. Gimme the money.
