That’s right. I’m bad.

Being a government of one, I guess I can be irresponsible with money if I want to. At least I’m being irresponsible with my own money.

After cancelling this morning’s trip to the wonderful, magical place because there was no wood stove to be bought there, I ended up spending the morning in … the wonderful, magical place. Specifically the gun store.

No, I didn’t blow all my money. Tempted, but didn’t do it. Actually I’m financially better off today than this time yesterday, at least on paper, because I spent yesterday building arsenic caps and so have almost another $100 coming. So I wasn’t that bad. And now I’ve got some speed strips and an ammo wallet for the revolver, which I’ve wanted for some time. I did walk away from the $80 holster which (sob) fit the Taurus perfectly except for barrel length. I’m so tired of this nylon sack – easy to draw, not so easy to re-holster. But that’ll have to wait.

And may I say I enjoy living in a place where you can actually draw your pistol in public to check out holsters, and nobody loses sphincter control.

  1. “Sphincter control”, I nearly lost it laughing so hard 🙂

One more try a posting a comment.

Leather is cheap, making a serviceable holster isn’t that hard.

For which Taurus model do you need a holster? I can look through my three boxes of old holsters and see if I have anything that will fit. (Hint: If it’s one of the Millennium Pro series – PT911/40/45 etc., holsters for the Glock 27 almost always fit the Taurii too. I have a Galco that I use that way.)
