Yesterday was supposed to be wind all day, t-storms in the afternoon and all night. The weatherman got the wind right: On the ridgetops the gusts would knock you off your feet. But the sun stayed out all day. It didn’t cloud up till after dark and this morning I got up to about an inch of wet, slushy snow.
The last snowfalls of the year always come as a surprise. It’s not very unusual to get snow well into May, though it never stays on the ground long. Heavy cloud cover this morning, so the panels may be a while melting off. Shutting down the ‘pooter now because I don’t know how long this’ll last.
