Razzer unpleasant veys, yah…
Just kidding, Citizens! But step over that bloody pool and rejoice as we show you a few highlights from the recent advances brought to you by that great gift to your long-term health, ObamaCare!
Advances such as Efficiency! Squeezing the fat out of the bloated health care fatcats!
The Advanced Medical Technology Association surveyed its members to determine the number of lost jobs since the 2.3 percent excise tax on medical devices took effect in January 2013, raising about $3.8 billion a year to help pay for ObamaCare.
The survey found that nearly a third of respondents had cut research and development because of the tax, and almost 10 percent had moved manufacturing abroad.
The job losses were put at about 14,000, with another 19,000 openings that were left unfilled.

We promised jobs ‘saved or created,’ baby, we never said where. Right, Citizens?
Meanwhile, Obamacare’s blessings extend opportunities for personal creativity and quality family time to surplus medical professionals, as its great new efficiencies require fewer hospitals!
The fourth Georgia hospital in two years is closing its doors due to severe financial difficulties caused by Obamacare’s payment cuts for emergency services.
The Lower Oconee Community Hospital is, for now, a critical access hospital in southeastern Georgia that holds 25 beds. The hospital is suffering from serious cash-flow problems, largely due to the area’s 23 percent uninsured population, and hopes to reopen as “some kind of urgent care center,” CEO Karen O’Neal said.
Our compassionate leader has listened to the voices of his wise counselors, those who haven’t yet been purged remain faithful, and has made a few tweaks and careful adjustments to the implementation of his brilliant plan! In fact, this report of no less than 28 individual unconstitutional delays in implementation has not yet gone down the memory hole! But take heart, Citizens, your mandate to buy ObamaCare Insurance remains strictly on schedule! Buy now! Buy often!

Oh, and that business about getting actual health care? Yeah, turns out there’s another little glitch.A minor setback. They’ll have that fixed up in no time. Or some selfish doctors will be providing quality health care somewhere outside Nome. Right, Citizens? We must all do our part! Hail Obama! Forward!

Indeed, but I keep looking at the silver lining. A lot of people are going to have to take responsibility for their own health and wellness. They are either going to have to take care of themselves and their families better on their own, or watch them sicken and die of things they could easily have prevented. Sad, but so true.
Yes, doctors and other health care professionals do wonderful work, in so many ways. The sad thing is that most people don’t need that kind of care more than once or twice in their lifetime. “Medical care” is mostly a waste of time, effort and money… and is all too often deadly all by itself.
I talked to a lady in the grocery store yesterday. I asked if she’d tried the new crop of grapefruit that just came in. (A real treat in wintertime Wyoming) She said she could not eat grapefruit in any form because she takes an anti-cholesterol drug. A prime example of the waste, fraud and irrational “medication” being foisted on people. I told her that the grapefruit was a thousand times better for her than the drug… and she even agreed. Sadly, she’s been fooled by the doctors and is too afraid not to take it anyway.
We’ll all be much, MUCH better off when we can’t go to the doctor all the time. Trust me. 🙂
