But still, some things are so evil and at the same time so remarkably silly and pointless that they really deserve recognition. Case in point: S. 147: A bill to establish minimum standards for States that allow the carrying of concealed firearms. Because nothing says “we hate you and don’t want you making decisions for yourself” like proposing a law that removes the power of decision from people you hate, I guess.

Makes me wonder why we don’t fire those people. Seems like a reasonable proposal for reducing government waste.
